hello!
my name is Amy and i am a sophomore vocal performance major!
i am originally from fairfax, virginia, about an hour south of d.c. i thought i would be one of the people who traveled the farthest for school, but people come from all around. my roommate this year is from oklahoma and last year my next door neighbor was from hong kong. :) i chose syracuse because it seemed like a good distance from home and the music program just really welcomed me in. out of all of my auditions, the judges here were my favorite because they just make me feel comfortable (well as comfortable as you can be in that situation haha.) now that i am here i spend most of my time in Crouse which is the music building. most of the music kids just call this home. and oh what a nice home it is :)
i will write again soon! i am trying to get a mini tour of Crouse together to show you what its really like :)

this is on halloween. i was a fairy and my friend was a pirate :) haha i know. we are very original :)
