in music news, which is what i am supposed to be talking about here haha, i am officially going to abroad to strasbourg france next semester! i am extremely excited. everyone who goes says "around november, you will just be itching to leave syracuse" and i never believed them, but now i do. i am googling pictures of the city all the time and fantasizing :) but getting all set to go has been stressful. i have to go to washington d.c. and get a visa and fill out 8,000 forms. but i know that when i am there it will be totally worth it! there are 7 of us going and i feel like that is a perfect group. they are all people that i know pretty well here, but aren't my super close friends so i am really eager to bond with them. woo! ill keep you posted on more strasbourg news!
isn't it the most picturesque french city?!

also, tonight i am going with the Oratorio Society to a dress rehearsal with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra! i was in the choir last year so i have performed with them before, but singing with them never loses its luster! it is so thrilling being up on stage with a full orchestra in front of a full audience. and the conductor Daniel Hege is extremely talented, along with being a certified dream boat :) i am very excited!
this is him. yummm:

finally, this is very random, but my house is going to be on MTV Teen Cribs tonight. my sister and i filmed it in october and it is basically just us walking around showing the camera crew around our house. but it should be interesting. i am extremely nervous to see what i actually said when they taped me. i am just crossing my fingers that i don't sound like an idiot. eee! if any of you want to see it, go to the Teen Cribs website and the video should be up there soon. :)
that's all for now! i am off to my dress rehearsal with maestro hege! :)
